Q: Do we take new patients?
A: Yes we do. We look forward to bringing you quality and personalized care for your ocular needs.
Q: Are you open on Saturdays?
A: Yes, but only for Optical Shop Services.
Q: What do I need to bring with me for my appointment?
A: The only thing you need to bring is identification. We do not need to bring your insurance card unless medicare is your primary insurance which it is required to bring your medicare ID card. We will have your authorizations prepared in advance after you make your appointment.
Q: Do we sell frames?
A: Yes. We have an Optical shop on site with a beautiful selection of frames and an amazing staff of certified opticians to help you find the right glasses for you.
Q: Do you speak Spanish? Hablas español?
A: Yes. Dr. Ricardo Silva and his staff are bilingual. Sí. Dr. Ricardo Silva y su personal son bilingües.
Q: The Department of Motor Vehicles requires me to fill out a form regarding my vision. Does Dr. Silva have this form?
A: Yes. We have the proper forms needed to give to the DMV and Dr. Silva will be more than happy to fulfill this request.
Q: What insurances do you take?

Q: Do I need insurance to see Dr. Silva?
A: Although, it is a great benefit to have a vision plan under your insurance, it is not required. You will find Dr. Silva to have reasonable prices for his eye exams.
Q: I have Keratoconus. Does Dr. Silva have something that can help my condition?
A: Although there are no known treatments to cure Keratoconus, there are possible ways of dramatically improving your vision using special contact lenses. Dr. Silva is one of the very few optmetrists in Miami that offer these services. Click here for more information.
Q: Does Dr. Silva see children?
A: Yes. Dr. Silva has many pediatric patients and sees children four and up. This a family friendly practice and even have many frame options for children. Dr. Silva also provides treatment for Myopia for children with our Myopia Management Program.
